Riccardo Dondi got a Ph.D. degree in computer science in 2005 from Università di Milano-Bicocca. In 2006, he became an Assistant Professor at Università degli Studi Bergamo. His research activity is focused on algorithm design and on the analysis of the computational complexity of some relevant problems in computational biology. In particular, he has studied tree comparison and reconciliation, haplotyping, clustering problems, and analysis of biological networks. He has served as a reviewer for international journals and conferences.
