Jingmao Zhao

Jingmao Zhao got B.S. degree and M.S. degree in Department of Chemistry, Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 1987 and 1990, respectively, and he got a Ph.D. degree from Beijing University of Chemical Technology in 2001. From 1990 to 1998, he worked in Zhongyuan Oilfield as an engineer. He has been working in Beijing University of Chemical Technology since 2001 and got a Professor position in 2003. For recent years, Professor Zhao’s main research fields include corrosion and control of carbon steels in H2S/CO2 solution, corrosion inhibitors, anodic oxidization of aluminum alloys, rare metal-sealing of aluminum anodic film, and water treatment technology. Zhao has authored or coauthored more than 50 research papers and 2 books in the field of corrosion science and technology. He taught 2 courses for students and graduate students, including “Synthesis and Preparation of Material” and “Corrosion Inhibitor.” Now, Professor Zhao is the Vice Director of Technical Committee of Corrosion Inhibitor, Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection.
