Eric Barret is a urological surgeon at the Montsouris Institute in Paris, France. He received his Medical degree from the University of Rouen in France where he followed urological training. After Basic training, Dr. Barret undertook research and clinical fellowship training in urological oncology, pediatric Urology, and minimally invasive urological surgery at Paris XI University, Indiana University, USA, and the Montsouris Institute in Paris, France, where he eventually earned his spot as staff surgeon. In addition to surgical work, Dr. Barret is an active academic urologist with international publications and ongoing collaborations in the field of urological oncology and minimally invasive surgery. He has pioneered the field of focal therapy for prostate cancer and he is actively involved in ongoing clinical trials.
