Mohamed Amine Khamsi

Mohammed Amine Khamsi, throughout his research career, has been very much interested in one particular question: “how to find practical use of the main fixed point theorems?” With the help of faculty from the Computer Science Department at UTEP, he developed the new area known as “fixed point theory in logic programming.” His love of mathematics goes beyond pure research. In 1996, with the help of two colleagues, he launched the website www.sosmath.com, considered as one of the most popular mathematics websites in the world.
