Ignazio Grattagliano

Ignazio Grattagliano was born in Bari, in 1962. He degreed in medicine in 1987 and got the specialty in internal medicine in 1992. As of December 1991 he works as a General Practitioner. He won a Research Award of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), Chicago, 1998. He is author of more than 95 scientific papers in peer-reviewed international journals with high impact factor, mainly concerning the fields of hepatology, gastroenterology, diabetes and metabolism, pharmacology, and toxicology. He also currently works as a reviewer for some international scientific journals with high impact factor.
