Brian Heng
Brian A. Heng received the B.S. degree in
electrical engineering from University of
Minnesota in 1999, and the M.S. degree
in electrical engineering and computer science
from Massachusetts Institute of Technology
in 2001. In 2005, he completed his
Ph.D. in electrical engineering and computer
science from Massachusetts Institute
of Technology on multiple description coding
for error-resilient video communications.
Brian is currently a Staff Scientist in the Broadband Systems
Engineering Group at Broadcom Corporation in Irvine, Calif. His
current research interests include video processing/compression,
video streaming, digital signal processing, and multimedia networking.
