Nuri Firat Ince

Nuri Firat Ince received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees all in electrical and electronics engineering from Cukurova University, Adana, Turkey, in 1999, 2002, and 2005, respectively. During his Ph.D., he applied adaptive time-frequency methods to brain-computer interfaces. His thesis was supported by the National Scientific Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) with an International Joint Ph.D. scholarship. He worked as a visiting scholar at the University of Minnesota in 2004 and conducted research on EEG analysis and classification. Currently, he is holding dual Postdoctoral appointments with the University of Minnesota and VA Medical Center Minneapolis. His research interests include neural engineering, wearable medical sensors, in-home assistive systems, programmable wireless sensor networks, adaptive time frequency analysis, and classification of biomedical signals. In the past, he worked on cardivascular signal processing and biomedical instrumentation.
