Ciro Aprea
Ciro Aprea obtained a degree cum laude in mechanical engineering from the University of Naples Federico II (1988), Italy, and Ph.D. degree in thermomechanical systems engineering from the same university. He served as a Full Professor of energetics and of cooling techniques at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Salerno, Italy. His research activity includes energetic and exergetic analysis of R22 substitutive refrigerant fluids, evaluation of reciprocating compressor performances, and experimental evaluation of heat transfer coefficients in evaporation and condensation of nonazeotropic mixtures. He is the authors or coauthor of more than 90 scientific papers (50 papers published on international peer-reviewed journals). He is a reviewer for international journals such as Applied Thermal Engineering, International Journal of Refrigeration, and Energy.
