Dinesh Kumar Mishra

Dinesh Kumar Mishra is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in Biorefinery Research Center, Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology (KRICT), Daejeon, Republic of Korea. In 2008, he received his Ph.D. degree from the Faculty of Science, University of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. In 2009, he got selected from the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi, India to join as a Researcher Associate in Polymer Science Engineering Division, National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India. Afterwards, he pursued a Postdoc position in the Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology (KRICT), Republic of Korea in 2010. He is the author of 21 peer-reviewed articles in reputable journals. He also published an Indian patent and several Korean patents. Mishra got the Best Poster Presentation Award in the 77th Annual Session and Symposium of The National Academy of Sciences (NASI), held at the Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysore, India. He also serves as a Reviewer for reputable international journals including Journal of Hazardous Materials and Polymer Bulletin. In addition to polymer (macromolecules) science, his research interests include the areas of heterogeneous catalysis and hydrogenation of sugars to their corresponding alcohols reactions using batch and continuous reactors.
