Klaus Pors holds a Ph.D. degree in biophysics and a B.S. degree in chemistry. His areas of expertise include drug discovery, cancer research, medicinal chemistry, chemical biology, enzyme kinetics/metabolism, heterocyclic chemistry, and diversity-oriented synthesis (DOS). Pors has been a Senior Lecturer in chemical biology (from September 2013 to present) and a Lecturer in medicinal chemistry in the Institute of Cancer Therapeutics, University of Bradford, Bradford, UK (from September 2005 to present) and was as well an Honorary Research Fellow in medicinal chemistry from February 2005 to August 2005 in the same institute. He also occupied the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow in medicinal chemistry at the School of Pharmacy, University of London, London, UK (February 2002 to January 2005).
