Seah H. Lim

Seah H. Lim graduated from the Medical School in Aberdeen University with an M.B.Ch.B. degree (commendation) in 1984. He has got his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from Aberdeen University and University of Wales, respectively; both theses are in the area of immunotherapy for acute leukemias. Lim is a physician scientist and serves on numerous journal review panels and grant review panels, including the National Institute of Health and the US Department of Defense. In addition, his research group works in the area of tumor antigen discovery and the biology of tumor antigens. He has more than 100 publications credited to him, in most of which he was either the first or the senior author. He was the Tenured Professor and Chief of the Division of Hematology and Oncology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Amarillo, Tex, USA until 2006 when he joined Texas Oncology, the largest independent group of oncology in the United States. He is currently the Director of Blood and Marrow Transplant Program at Texas Oncology-Amarillo Cancer Center.
