Achille Pich

Achille Pich was born in Nole, Italy, in 1949. He obtained degrees in medicine (summa cum laude) (1974), in general surgery (1982), and in laboratory medicine (1986) (summa cum laude) from the University of Turin. From 1977 to 1985, he served as an Assistant Professor of pathology. Since 1985, he works as an Associate Professor of pathology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Turin. He is mainly interested in research on tumor cell proliferative activity, oncogene expression, hematopathology (especially bone marrow pathology), and mammary (especially male breast) pathology. He serves a Reviewer for a number of scientific journals and is a Member of the European Bone Marrow Working Group.
