Paul Munroe

Paul Munroe is a Professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of New South Wales. He is also the Director of the University's Electron Microscope Unit. He received both the B.S. and Ph.D. degree from the University of Birmingham and then worked as Research Fellow at Dartmouth College. Since coming to UNSW in the early 1990s, he has built up the Electron Microscope Unit to become a major research facility with 14 major instruments and 13 staff. His research interests include structure-property relationships, thin film deformation, and 3-dimensional image reconstruction.
