Paul Munroe is Head of School and Professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, NSW, Australia. He received both the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Birmingham, West Midlands, UK, and then worked as Research Fellow at Dartmouth College. From 1998 to 2013, he was the Director of the Electron Microscope Unit at the University of New South Wales. His research interests include structure-property relationships, thin film deformation, and 3-dimensional image reconstruction. He has published over 300 journal papers.
