Garth Isaak received a B.A. degree with majors in chemistry, mathematical sciences, and physics from Bethel College in Kansas in 1984 and a Ph.D. degree from the Interdisciplinary Center for Operations Research (RUTCOR) at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ, in 1990. After two postdoctoral years at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, he moved to Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pa, USA, where he serves currently as Professor of mathematics and Associate Dean for research and graduate studies. His research interests are graph theory and related combinatorial structures.
