Vassilios Tzortzis was born in 1964 in Kastoria, Greece. In 1990, he graduated as a Medical Doctor from the University of Florence, Florence, Italy. After completing residency in the Department of Urology in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki, Greece, he became a qualified Urologist in 1999. In 2000, Tzortzis qualified as Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU). In 1997, he attended a 6-month fellowship at the Department of Urology of “G. Maranon” General University Hospital, Madrid, Spain and in 2008 at the Minimal Invasive Urology Centre and Laparoscopy of the AMC University Hospital of Amsterdam, Netherlands. Since 2000, Tzortzis has been Staff Member as Lecturer and currently as Assistant Professor at the Department of Urology at the University Hospital of Larissa, Greece. My main interest is urologic oncology and Andrology.
