Yuehua Cui received his M.S. degree in plant biology from the China Agricultural University in 1998 and his Ph.D. degree in statistics from the University of Florida in 2005. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor of statistics at the Michigan State University. His laboratory focuses on developing novel statistical and computational methods in understanding the genetic etiology of complex human diseases as well as the genetic basis of agricultural traits.
