Sankaranarayana Pillai Shylesh
0000-0002-2400-6672Sankaranarayanapillai Shylesh serves as a Research Associate at University of California, Berkeley, Calif, USA, and he had more than 9 years of research experience in the field of catalysis and material science. He earned his Ph.D. degree from the National Chemical Laboratory (NCL), India, working in the synthesis and catalytic applications of organic-inorganic hybrid mesoporous materials. In 2006, he moved to the University of Bayreuth, Germany, as a Postdoctoral Fellow, and later on, he moved to TU Kaiserslautern, Germany, as an Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow. He holds more than 30 peer-reviewed publications and four review articles. His research interest includes the synthesis of nanostructured materials, organic-inorganic hybrid materials, multifunctional catalytic materials, and the heterogenization of homogenous catalysts.
