Oscar Valero is an Associate Professor in the Polytechnic School, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Balearic Islands, Spain. He is also serving as an Affiliate Member in the Center for Efficiency Oriented Languages (CEOL), University College Cork, Ireland. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Valencia University of Science both in mathematics and the Ph.D. degree from Polytechnical University of Valencia in applied mathematics. His research interests are in theoretical aspects and applications of asymmetric topology, topological algebra, functional analysis, fixed point theory, metric spaces, fuzzy mathematics, and aggregation operators. He has published more than 60 papers on the aforementioned topics and is serving on the editorial boards of four international journals.
