Yong-Fang Kuo

Yong-Fang Kuo is an Associate Professor of internal medicine-geriatrics and the Director for Biostatistics of Sealy Center on Aging at the University of Texas Medical Branch. She has extensive experiences in analyzing large administrative data related to pattern of care, toxicity of treatment, and health outcomes. In addition, she has analyzed several longitudinal surveys in studying physical and cognition function changed over time. Her areas of interest in statistical research include survival data analysis, longitudinal data analysis, hierarchical linear model, hierarchical generalized linear mix model, and instrumental variable analysis. She currently is the coinvestigators for six NIH grants.
