Maria Elena Ferrero is Italian. She obtained her M.S. degree (full votes) in biological sciences from the Univesity of Milan, Milan, Italy, and her M.D. degree (110 laude/110 votes) in medicine and surgery from the same university, and her specialization (70 laude/70 votes) is in anesthesia and ranimation.
