Keiji Naruse graduated from Nagoya University School of Medicine in 1988, obtaining the M.D. degree, and he received his Ph.D. degree in medicine from the same university in 1992. He served as an Associate Professor at the same university from 1999 to 2005 and works currently as a Chairman and as a Professor of cardiovascular physiology at Okayama University Graduate School of Medicine. He served as a Visiting Professor at Harvard Medical School from 1998 to 2001. He has been working in the fields of mechanobiology of circulation, reproduction, and sensory systems.
