Hideki Katagiri

Hiroshima University, Japan

Hideki Katagiri received B.E., M.E. and D.E. degrees in engineering at Osaka University, in 1995, 1997 and 2000, respectively. At present, He is an Associate Professor of Hiroshima University, Japan, and is working with Graduate School of Engineering, Hiroshima University. His research and teaching activities are in the area of operations research and soft computing, especially, fuzzy stochastic optimization and multi-objective decision making. He was a Chair of IEEE SMC Hiroshima Chapter from 2008 to 2010, and served as a General Chair for IWCIA 2008 and 2009. In 2008 and 2010, he received the Best Paper Award of the IAENG International Conference on Operations Research. He has been a TPC Member for Fuzz-IEEE 2011. He is an author or a coauthor of about 100 refereed papers and 4 books (1 co-authored book and 3 co-edited books) in English.
