George Noussios graduated from the Medical Department of the Health Sciences School of the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki in 1985. He had a professional specialization in Otorhinolaryngology since 1994. As a trainer, he completed a postgraduate course from 1996 to 1998 at the university clinics of ULB, AZ-VUB (ERASME), and Université Catholique de Louvain in Brussels, Belgium, with the study subject of functional endoscopic nasal and paranasal sinuses surgery. Moreover, he completed a postgraduate course with the subject of otosurgery at the Georges Portmann Institute, Bordeaux, France. He obtained a Ph.D. degree from the Medical Department of the Health Sciences School of the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki in 1998. He also had a Ph.D. degree from the Medical Department of the Health Sciences School of the Democritus University of Thrace, in 1999. Also, he had another Ph.D. degree of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2004. For eight consecutive years he serves as a Professor at the Department of Physical Education of the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki and at the School of Health and Social Welfare of Superior Technological Institute of Thessaloniki. At present, he serves as a Member of the Teaching and Scientific Staff of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences of Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki with the degree of Assistant Professor. Noussios participated in many scientific congresses and he published many papers in a numerous Greek and international peer-reviewed journals. He also participated in the writing, editing, and translating medical books of anatomy and otorhinolaryngology.
