Alberico Motolese has got the M.D. degree. He is the Head of the Department of Dermatology at the Varese Hospital, Italy. He was an Undergraduate student at the University of Modena in 1979. In addition, he graduated in dermatology from the University of Modena in 1982 and graduated in allergology and clinical immunology from the University of Bari in 1987. From 1979 to 1999, he was an Assistant Professor of dermatology at the Modena Hospital; from 1999 to 2006, he was the Head of the Department of Dermatology at the Alessandro Manzoni Hospital, Lecco, Italy. Since 2006, he was the Head of the Department of Dermatology at the Circolo Hospital and Macchi Foundation, Varese, Italy. From 1980 to 2006, he was a Professor of dermatology at the University of Modena and from 1992 to 2006, he was a Professor of allergology and clinica immunology at the University of Modena. Moreover, Motolese had a membership in professional and scientific societies including SIDEMAST (the Director of ulcers program and vascular dermatology), ADOI, SIAIC, EADV, AIUC, SIDAPA, SIDCO, and CORTE (Member of the Editorial Board and Secretary). From 2000 to 2004, he was the Head of the Department of Allergology Alessandro Manzoni Hospital, Lecco, Italy. His publications are 172 national and international journals.
