0000-0003-1812-5269User Biography : Dr Jean-Christophe Nebel Jean-Christophe Nebel is a Reader (Associate Professor) in the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Computing at Kingston University, UK, and a Visiting Academic at St George's Medical School, University of London. He holds an M.Eng. degree from the CPE Lyon, France (Chemistry, Physics & Electronics 'Grande Ecole'), and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computing science from the University of St-Etienne (France, 1997). As a Leader of the Bioinformatics and Genomic Signal Processing Research Group at Kingston University, his research activities span across different aspects of bioinformatics including protein function and structure prediction, protein interactions, and protein active site modelling. He also develops pattern recognition techniques applied to the field of computer vision.
