Patrick Guidotti obtained his Ph.D. degree from the University of Zurich, Switzerland, in 1997. He has been a Faculty Member at the Department of Mathematics, University of California, Irvine, CA, USA, where he became a Full Professor in 2011. Guidotti’s research interests include partial differential equations, free boundary problems, applied mathematics, and mathematical image processing.
