Marina Pollan

Dr Pollan has worked in the field of cancer epidemiological research since 1990, at the National Centre of Epidemiology in the Carlos III Institute (CNE-ISCIII). She has participated in several international and national advisory panels, related with cancer surveillance and cancer risk factors. She has also been involved in the elaboration of regional and national strategies against cancer. Dr Pollan has been member of the evaluation boards coordinating the scientific reviewing process of projects in Spanish national calls (2004-2011). Dr Pollan has been a member of the Scientific Council in the International Agency for Cancer Research (IARC) during the period 2009-2012.
