Ma Rosa Martinez-Larrañaga

Ma Rosa Martinez-Larrañaga received a D.Sci. degree at the Universidad Complutense de Maded, Madrid, Spain, in 1968. In 1974, she received a Ph.D. degree (cum laude) in toxicology and pharmacology at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Martinez-Larrañaga is a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology (1997). She is a Fellow at the Medical Research Council, Royal College of Surgeons of England, London, UK (1978–1982), and the Real Colegio Complutense at Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass, USA, (2008). She is currently a Full Professor in toxicology and Head of the Department of Toxicology and Pharmacology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Her areas o expertise cover toxicology, pharmacology, toxicokinetics/pharmacokinetics (including metabolism), molecular toxicology, risk assessment of residues and contaminants, and food safety.
