Yong Jiang, M.D. & Ph.D. Southern Medical University, China Yong Jiang, professor, Chairman of the Department of Pathophysiology of Southern Medical University, and head of Key Lab of Transcriptomics and Proteomics of Human Diseases of Ministry of Education of China. Yong Jiang received M.D. degree from the First Military Medical University, Guangzhou, China, in 1985 and Ph.D. degree from Chinese Military Medical Academy, Beijing, China, in 1997. He is an honor professor of Changjiang Scholar, as well as Chief Scientist of 973 program of China. He had been awarded the Youth Award of Science and Technology of China and Qiushi Prize for Outstanding Yong Scientist. He served in many peer-reviewed international journals as Academic Editor or Editorial Board members. Jiang's research interests include the regulation of gene transcription, signaling mechanisms of inflammation, functional proteomics of immune response and tissue damage, DAMPs in inflammatory response.
