Shigeo Takebayashi serves as a Chief and Professor, Department of Diagnostic Radiology, Yokohama City University Medical Center, Yokohama, Japan. He is also a Visiting professor in the Graduate School of Environment and Information Sciences, Yokohama National University and a Visiting fellow in Abdominal Imaging Section, Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University Medical Center, St. Louis, Mo, USA. Takebayashi obtained his M.D. degree in 1978 and a Ph.D. degree in 1986. Takebayashi's experience includes imaging diagnosis, interventional radiology of renal diseases, and abdominal disease. His recent publications include, "Fibromuscular dysplasia associated with simultaneous spontaneous dissection of four peripheral arteries in a 30-year-old man," Annals of Vascular Surgery, "Rectal content and intrafractional prostate gland motion assessed by magnetic resonance imaging," Journal of Radiation Research, and "Role of Sonazoid-enhanced three-dimensional ultrasonography in the evaluation of percutaneous radiofrequency ablation of hepatocellular carcinoma," European Journal of Radiology.
