Maria de Fatima Sonati

Maria De Fatima Sonati obtained the Ph.D. degree in genetics and molecular biology from State University of Campinas, Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil. She works as an Associate Professor at the Department of Clinical Pathology at the above-mentioned university. She has published 75 papers within the general area of genetics, focusing on hemoglobinopathies and human haptoglobin polymorphisms.
