Chandan Kumar-Sinha
Chandan Kumar-Sinha, holder of a Ph.D. degree, is currently a Research Assistant Professor at the Michigan Center for Translational Pathology (MCTP), Department of Pathology, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA. He received his Ph.D. degree at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan, where he worked on aspects of breast cancer research and apoptosis. After his postdoctoral training, he served on the faculty at Institute of Bioinformatics, Bangalore, followed by a faculty position ACTREC in Navi Mumbai, India. His primary research interests include discovery of gene fusions and other somatic aberrations in solid tumors using high-throughput sequencing, and functional characterization of recurrent aberrations for translational applications.
