Jerome A. Goldstein

Jerome A. Goldstein received his Ph.D. degree at Carnegie Mellon University, Pa, USA. His three tenured professorships have been at Tulane, LSU, and Memphis (at Memphis since 1996). He has one-year positions at The Institute for Advanced Study, London, UK, and MSRI and shorter visits at various schools and institutes in the USA, Brazil, Italy, Germany, Austria, France, and Scotland. His research interests include linear and nonlinear PDE, semigroups of operators, quantum theory, stochastic processes, and fluid dynamics. His various research awards include the First Faculty Research Award given at Tulane and the Eminent Faculty Award at Memphis.
