Stefan Rampp holds both M.D. and Ph.D. degree. He is the Head of the junior working group of automated analysis of the intraoperative facial nerve EMG, Department of Neurosurgery, University Hospital Halle (Saale), Matin-Luther Universität Halle-Wittenberg, Germany. His areas of expertise include intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring and magnetoencephalography for epilepsy diagnosis and presurgical mapping. He has been mainly working on magnetoencephalography analysis for epileptogenic activity. Since a few years ago, he has been involved by the automated analysis of the intraoperative facial nerve EMG, Department of Neurosurgery, University Hospital Halle, and focused on developing the facial nerve monitoring. He has authored more than 40 peer-reviewed publications, and he is a recognized international trainer in the area of magneto and electrophysiology.
