Weizhong Dai received his Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematical and Computational Sciences from the University of Iowa, USA, in 1994. He is a McDermott International Professor of Mathematics and the Chair of Ph.D. Program in Computational Analysis and Modeling at Louisiana Tech University, USA. His research interests include numerical solutions of partial differential equations, numerical heat transfer and bioheat transfer, numerical simulations for bioeffect of electromagnetics, and numerical methods for microfabrication systems, such as LCVD, melt crystallization, and X-ray lithography. He has published one book and more than 125 research articles in refereed journals and international conference proceedings.
