C. Papadias

Constantinos B. Papadias received the Diploma of electrical engineering from National Technical University of Athens, Athens, Greece, in 1991 and his Ph.D. degree from Ecole Nationale Superieure de Telecommunication, Paris, France, in 1995. From 1992 to 1995, he was a Teaching and Research Assistant at Institut Eurécom, France. From 1995 to 1997, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stanford University's Smart Antennas Research Group. Since 1997, he has been with Wireless Research Lab, Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies first as a member of the technical staff and more recently as the Technical Manager. His current research interests are in the areas of space-time and next generation wireless systems. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, a Member of the Technical Chamber of Greece, and he represents Lucent Technologies at the Steering Board of the Wireless World Research Forum (WWRF). He is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing and he has recently received the IEEE Signal Processing Society's 2003 Young Author Best Paper Award. Currently, he helds the position of an Adjunct Associate Professor at Columbia University, teaching a class on space-time wireless systems.
