Ye Li is now a Professor and the Executive Director of the Research Center for Biomedical Information Technology in Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT), Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China, in 1999 and 2002, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Arizona State University, Tempe, U.S., in 2006. In 2007, he worked in Cadence Design Systems Inc., San Jose, CA. Since 2008, he has been working in SIAT, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenzhen, China. His research interests include low power solutions for body area networks,sensor communication protocols, biometrics-based information security and cloud-assisted biomedical signal processing for healthcare etc. In the past 5 years, he had 12 peer-reviewed journal papers published and 50 IEEE/ACM conference papers. Currently, his team are supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NFSC), National S&T Major Project of China, and several other state projects. Dr. Li served as reviewers for several IEEE/ACM Transactions and other famous journals. He is also TPC member or session chairs of several international conferences.
