Vincenzo Gattulli currently works as an Associate Professor at University of L'Aquila, L'Aquila, Italy, after obtaining his Ph.D. degree from Sapienza University, Rome, Italy, in structural control. During his graduate education, Gattulli was awarded a five-year degree in structural engineering from Sapienza University, Rome, Italy, and his M.S. degree in civil engineering from SUNY at Buffalo, NY, USA, and he received mastership of full professor in structural mechanics in 2013. His research activity has been conducted through analytical, numerical, and experimental methods in different fields of structural mechanics such as computational mechanics and structural analysis, earthquake engineering and structural control, nonlinear dynamics and stability, structural identification and monitoring, and structural reliability and management of existing structures. His research is supported by several national and international sources.
