Seth Owusu-Agyei has since July 2002 been Director of Kintampo Health Research Centre (KHRC), Ghana and currently Senior Lecturer (part-time) at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. He is a Biomedical Scientist with postgraduate training in Applied Medical Parasitology (MSc) and Epidemiology (PhD). His research career dates back to 1987 and most of the time based in Ghanaian research institutions: Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research from 1987 to 1989; Navrongo Health Research Centre from 1989 to 2001 and KHRC from 2002 to date. His main research interests are infectiousmalaria, pneumonia and meningitis in young children. Currently, he coordinates a programme which is supporting post-graduate training in malaria in five African universities.
