Simon D. Hobbs

Simon D. Hobbs was born in the UK, in 1973. He graduated from the University of Birmingham, Birmingham, UK, in 1998 and completed his surgical training in general and vascular surgery in the West Midlands. He was awarded a M.D. degree in 2005 following two and a half years of research into coagulation changes in exercising claudicants. Following completion of his training, he was awarded a BSET Endovascular Fellowship which he completed at the Royal Liverpool Hospital gaining experience in endovascular stenting of abdominal aortic aneurysms including complex fenestrated and branched repairs. Hobbs took up a post in Wolverhampton as a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon in 2010.
