Ti Jun Chen
Ti Jun Chen graduated from Xi’an Jiaotong University with a Ph.D. degree in engineering. He is teaching at Lanzhou University of Technology, China. Chen’s initial activity was focused on the fabrication, mechanical properties, and tribological properties of ceramic particle or fiber-reinforced zinc or aluminum-based composites. After completing his M.S. degree studies, his research was on the semisolid forming of zinc-based alloy and SiC or Si particle-reinforced zinc-based composites. Recently, Professor Chen has expanded his research field to the development of new magnesium alloys and magnesium-based composites and their thixoforming. Particullary, the research on the tribological behaviors of cast and thixoformed magnesium alloys is of particular pioneering.
