Teerapol Srichana received the B.Pharm. degree in 1989 from the Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Songkhla, Thailand. In 1991–1992, he completed an M.S. degree (in pharmaceutical technology), Ghent University, Ghent, Belgium. His M.S. thesis was on the influence of process parameters and formulation(s) on the quality of spheres in spheronizer, and was under the supervision of Professor J.P. Remon. In 1995–1998, Srichana received the Ph.D. degree (in pharmaceutics), at the King's College London, London, United Kingdom, and the thesis title was "A study of some factors affecting the deposition of drug and excipients following aerosolisation of dry powders" under the supervision of Professor C. Marriott and Professor G.P. Martin. He was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Medicinal Chemistry, Faculty of Medicine, Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel (2005), as well as at the Department of Pharmaceutics, College of Pharmacy, University of Minnesota, Minn, USA (2006). He currently works as Associate Professor in pharmaceutics at PSU (since 2003), Director of Drug Delivery System Excellence Center, PSU (since 2008), Deputy Director of NANOTEC Center of Excellence at PSU (since 2006), Associate Dean for Planning and Development at PSU (2009–2010), and Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies (since 2010). He previously held the positions of Head of Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, PSU (2000–2004), Director of Drug Delivery System Research Center, PSU (2004–2008), and Director of Central Equipment at Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, PSU (2000–2002). Srichana published over 50 papers internationally in the areas of aerosol science and technology.
