MTA Research Institute for Technical Physics and Materials Science, Hungary

Csaba Dücső was born in Budapest, Hungary, in 1959. He graduated as a Chemist at the Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, Hungary, in 1983 and received the Ph.D. degree for his thesis on design and processing technology of microhotplates for integrated gas sensor application. Between 1983 and 2007, he was working for the Research Institute for Technical Physics and Materials Science (MFA), Budapest, Hungary, in different positions and headed the Microtechnology Laboratory for over 15 years. In the period of 2008-2012, he was working for BudaSolar Technologies Ltd. as the Head of R&D of thin film Si solar cell technology and related processing equipment of the company. He joined again the MEMS Laboratory of the Research Institute for Technical Physics and Materials Science in November, 2012. His research activity includes Si-processing technology with special emphasis on micromachining techniques and fabrication of MEMS (integrated pressure, force, and gas sensors).
