Federico Ambrogi is a Ph.D. degree Researcher of Biostatistics, Faculty of Medicine, University of Milan, Milan, Italy. His main research interests concern computational statistics for the analysis of complex biomedical data, in particular in presence of censored survival times, with special emphasis on competing risks applications and multivariate analysis and pattern recognition for the study of complex diseases, mainly in high dimensional settings such as omic studies. He developed collaborations with Italian and international groups of pathologists for the study of breast cancer highlighting the need for biomolecular profile identification of complex diseases. He teaches biomedical statistics in many courses for the B.S. degrees in medical sciences and bibliometry and evidence based medicine at the UNIMI International Medical School (www.mimed.it) as well as Introduction to Survival Analysis at the M.S. degree in medical statistics.
