Terence Chuen Wai Poon
Professor Poon Chuen Wai Terence has a major interest in development of proteomic and bioinformatic methodologies and their applications to gastrointestinal and liver disease research, especially on diagnosis and clinical outcome prediction. He has many experiences in the analysis of plasma/serum, tear, and human samples. His research team is identifying the cellular proteins differentially expressed in liver cancer. Recently he has joined the China Human Proteome Organization, and participates in the Chinese Human Liver Proteome Project. Currently he is a council member of Hong Kong Society of Mass Spectrometry. He also serves as an active ad-hoc reviewer for many prestigious international journals.
