Shadi A. Dayeh
Shadi A. Dayeh was born in Kefraya, Lebanon, in 1980. He earned his M.S. degree in physics and electronics from the Lebanese University in 2001, the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Southern Methodist University in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from University of California San Diego in 2008, after which he joined the Center for Integrated Nanotechnologies at Los Alamos National Laboratory as a Director Fellow, and he is currently a Distinguished J. R. Oppenheimer Fellow since 2010. His research is concerned with the growth, structure, device physics, and integration of semiconductor nanowires and their heterostructures and their applications in electronics and photovoltaics and more recently in spintronics and electro-neural interfaces.
