Daniela Schulz holds a Ph.D. degree and serves as a Senior Research Scientist and Research Assistant Professor at Stony Brook University in New York. Her area of expertise is in behavioral neuroscience. Her research focuses on the development of a novel neuroimaging approach which integrates PET with behavioral studies in rats. She also studies learning and memory processes in animal models of psychiatric diseases such as depression. She was the Guest Editor of the special issue on behavioral neuroimaging for Reviews in the Neurosciences and is currently serving on the Editorial Board of Behavioural Brain Research.
