Mehmet Dik

Mehmet Dik received his B.S. degree in mathematics from the University of Istanbul, Istanbul, Turkey, in 1993. While he was a graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Istanbul in 1994, he won a six-year-scholarship from the Ministry of National Education of Turkey to get M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in the USA. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mathematics from the University of Missouri, Rolla, Missouri, USA, in 1997 and 2002, respectively. His Ph.D. advisor is Dr. Caslav V. Stanojevic. Upon completion of his Ph.D., he worked for Hendrix College, Conway, Arkansas, as a Visiting Assistant Professor from 2002 to 2003. Since August 2003, Dr. Dik has been working for Rockford College. Currently, he is the chairperson of the Mathematics Department at Rockford College. His research interests are summability theory and Tauberian theorems. Mehmet Dik is a member of the American Mathematical Society, the Turkish Mathematical Society, and the Mathematical Association of America.
