Courfia K. Diawara
Courfia K. Diawara had demonstration of a new process of fluoride removal and desalination with solar energy from brackish drinking water, February 24th, 2010. She has been working as a Professor of inorganic chemistry, water, and membrane process at the University of Ziguinchor (Senegal) since December 1, 2010. She also served as an Associate Professor of inorganic chemistry, water, and membrane process from the University Cheikh Anta Diop Dakar (Senegal) from January 1, 1996 to November 30, 2010. She also serves as a Scientific Coordinator of “NF plant” for desalination and defluorination in Senegal, a Directory Board Member of African Membrane Society www.sam-ptf.com, a Member of “Chaire UNESCO-SIMEV”, A Broad Representative of “Club Français des Membranes”—CFM in Senegal, Scientific Committee Member of “PNES” Global Water Partnership-west Africa, Scientific and Educational Board Member of the University Ph.D. Water School, an Expert for Middle East Desalination Research Center “Project no. 04-AS-005”, and a Principal Investigator of the “1st West African meeting on Membranes science and technology in water and health” 6-8 June 2007 Dakar. In 2010, she served as Lecturer to the International Institute for Water and Environmental Engineering (2iE); November 2009, a Scientist Visiting to Veolia water from October 1st to November 15th; 2008 Scientist Visiting to Veolia water from October 1st to November 30th; 2007, a Scientist Visiting at the IUT of Saint Nazaire, University of Nantes-France from September 2th to October 31th.
